Formed in June 2020, Si Se Puede is a registered neighborhood association with the City of Phoenix located in Estrella Village District 7. The group’s mission is to improve community conditions through its solidarity-building work, which includes workshops, projects, and active participation of all members. The programs provided by Si Se Puede are free to community members. Some examples of the work done by Si Se Puede in the community include monthly distribution of food boxes, creating murals in schools, advocating for the extension of the neighborhood Circulator (neighborhood bus service), partnering with community health organizations to host screenings and vaccination events, hosting workshops related to immigration, personal finance, health English as a second language, and more.
